Children as young as 11 are to get lessons about the dangers of knife crime for the first time in a £1million bid to curb bloodshed on the streets. Pupils in secondary schools across England will be given an hour-long lesson to steer them away from carrying a blade ahead of the summer holidays – when violence traditionally flares.

The move, due to be announced by the Home Office today, comes 24 hours after a shocking Daily Mail poll revealed the majority of Britons think police have lost control and criminals are acting with impunity.

Ministers are under intense pressure to get to grips with an epidemic of violence across Britain with knife crime up 22 per cent in a year. Now schools across England are being issued with new guidance on teaching children aged 11-16 about the risks of carrying a knife and the dangers of social media.

Almost 50,000 secondary school teachers have received lesson plans and power-point presentations to show pupils the hazards of arming themselves and give advice on how to resist peer pressure.

The guidance states: ‘It is important that young people are able and confident to identify the risks associated with carrying a knife and feel empowered to live knife-free.

In line with best practice, the lessons and resources have been carefully designed to minimise feelings of fear, shock or guilt while learning about this potentially sensitive topic.

It is important to use a reassuring approach throughout and to avoid “worst case scenario” thinking.

As part of the lessons, pupils will be taught about slang such as ‘shank’ or ‘tool’ for knife, ‘mandem’ and ‘posse’ for gang and ‘feds’ for police.

The initiative is set to be rolled out across all state and private secondary schools in England as part of personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) lessons.

It is anticipated thousands of pupils will be taught anti-knife lessons this week and other teaching materials will be provided by the Home Office for the next academic year.

It is the first time the Home Office has intervened in an area which traditionally has been left to charities and campaigners to educate informally.

Children’s Minister Nadhim Zahawi said: ‘Knife crime has devastating consequences on society and this Government is determined to take action and protect our children, families and communities from it.<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

A Google engineer has been beaten to death in the latest attack sparked by false WhatsApp messages accusing people of kidnapping children in India. Mohammad Azam was attacked along with two friends by a 2,000-strong mob in southern Karnataka state's Bidar district.

Police have arrested 32 people over the death - the latest in a string of lynchings caused by unfounded rumours of child abductions.

Azam's friends, including a Qatar national, were critically injured in the assault that came days after the Facebook-owned messaging service published advertisements in Indian newspapers offering tips to curb the spread of fake information on its platform. More than 20 people have been lynched in India after being accused of child abduction in the last two months.

Police said 27-year-old Azam and his companions were returning to their home in neighbouring Hyderabad city after visiting a friend in Bidar when they stopped midway and offered chocolates to local school children.

One of them had bought chocolates from Qatar and tried to offer it to the children as a token of affection,' Bidar deputy police chief V. N. Patil told AFP.

But one of the children started crying, alerting the elders who accused the men of being child kidnappers amid rife social media rumours about child kidnapping rings in the area, the officer said.

Patil said the three managed to flee but were attacked by a much larger mob a few miles ahead after locals alerted nearby villages via Whatsapp.

Their car flipped after hitting a roadblock placed by the angry mob before they were dragged out of the vehicle and beaten with sticks and stones.

A video broadcast on Indian news channels showed a policeman pleading with the attackers as they kicked and hit the victims with sticks.

Three policemen were injured in rescue attempts as the mob rampaged for nearly an hour.

Police said they have arrested 32 attackers and a manhunt is on for others. Some of the accused were identified from the attack video circulating on WhatsApp.

An investigating officer speaking on condition of anonymity told AFP that those arrested included the administrator of a WhatsApp group behind the viral message that triggered the attack.

The latest attack comes after five people were lynched by a mob in neighbouring Maharashtra state on July 1.<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

Type 1 diabetes could be prevented by feeding babies powdered insulin, according to researchers beginning a world-first trial in the south of England. Pregnant women are being asked to sign up to the NHS trial in the Thames Valley in a bid to protect at-risk babies from type 1 diabetes for the rest of their lives

People with the condition do not produce the hormone insulin, which regulates blood sugar, and scientists suggest feeding it to babies who show signs of diabetes

This could train the immune system not to stop the body producing vital insulin, and prevent type 1 diabetes from ever developing, the researchers say.

Around 400,000 people in the UK and 1.25 million Americans are living with type 1 diabetes, which requires people to give themselves daily injections.

Researchers from Oxford University say the trial is 'an enormous breakthrough' and hope they can stop the potentially deadly condition from developing.

And scientists at the University of Alabama have revealed a cheap drug commonly used to treat high blood pressure could improve diabetics' symptoms and reduce the amount of insulin they need to take.<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

Society make there rules up and it’s describes it in the most fanatic way, it’s a description between cultures’ black people label them self nig......rs and it is a word that is discriminating to the human race of black or brown colour.

It’s a purpose of definition that highlights white or peach people to laugh at black or brown people in that sense and white America use the term nig.....rs to describe a person even if they are black or white, when it’s was a word that was targeted to insult black people as a slave, growing up I never heard the word use called Caucasian growing up as a kid,

it’s was never describe to me class in history,

My mother or father never stated it, but it’s used today in society, it’s seems like it’s a word that has been invented over the last few years that reflects the image to the white culture. English white culture are not Asian and cauc-Asian has the word Asian in it.

This word was not invented from history, I learned history in school and done my homework on history and that cultured word was never said to me or exist as It’s a fake word that describes white culture Caucasian is not a word of history.

That’s a fact’ English people are called Vikings not Caucasian, I think it might be subjected to white Americans who are Caucasian because they are different from English people but this was never stated in history. It’s very disrespectful that black and brown colour are a fallen race to insult and white race are a respected race to implement a new word called Caucasian which was never said in history through the king and queens of England.

It all way fights me to ask who made this word up as now it’s a change word for culture within existence. English people are not Caucasian they are Vikings.

It’s Americans that are Caucasian I think 💭 . The term of a white person using the word nig......er to describe any human is a insult to black and brown colour as it’s a formative history word that is framed at slavery as a word that was use to insult black and brown people.  <script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

Americans in the UK have been warned to 'keep a low profile' during Donald trump, visit to avoid being caught up in 'violent' protests – as the Ambassador's residence where the President will sleep has been turned into a fortress. The U.S. Embassy issued the advice on Tuesday ahead of the President's arrival on Thursday for talks with a Prime Minister Theresa May.

Embassy staff said 'numerous demonstrations' were planned for Thursday to Saturday with the majority around central London on Friday. Americans were advised to 'keep a low profile', 'be aware of your surroundings', and 'monitor local media' during Trump's visit.

Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings that may become violent,' it said.

Meanwhile, workmen have constructed barriers, special pedestrian gates and fences around the U.S. ambassador's residence in Regent's Park ahead of the presidential visit.

Tens of thousands are expected to take to the streets in protest of Trump's policies but there is no indication they will be anything but peaceful.

Other than street marches, they include the flying a massive balloon of Trump as an angry baby from Westminster Gardens near Big Ben. President Trump lands in London on Thursday night for a dinner in his honour at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.

After spending the night at U.S. Ambassador Woody Johnson's residence in London he tours a military facility with Ms May before talks at Chequers.

That afternoon he will meet the Queen at Windsor Castle before heading to Scotland for a private holiday. He is mostly skipping London to avoid protests.

On Sunday he moves on to Helsinki to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin for long-awaited talks on neutral territory. <script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

A man not having a women over a long period of time is a form of rape that is subjected to the mental state of the human soul and mind. It’s changes a person that is not there original state from who they are in the first place,

It’s an exploitation of a man that needs a women and the same falls for a women that needs a man in the same context as it’s an neglect or if it’s done on purpose to a person it’s a different form of rape. Article written by eve summons,

The weather may be glorious – but a plague of unwanted guests is infiltrating the country, eating us alive and causing havoc for the tennis players at Wimbledon, who this week had to contend with the consequences of flying ants’ mating rituals. While most bites and stings are relatively harmless, some bug attacks can be far more serious. Bites from blood-sucking horseflies – numbers of which have rocketed in recent weeks – can land you in hospital and even lead to potentially fatal sepsis if they become infected.

So how can you protect yourself? Here, Professor James Logan, head of disease control at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, gives his expert verdict… wasp and bee stings inject venom into the skin, causing red and itchy swelling. The most common bee – the honey bee – leaves its stinger inside its target’s skin after striking.

About five per cent of the population are allergic to bee or wasp venom, resulting in an anaphylactic reaction. It can happen even if you’ve been stung before and have not reacted.

Treatment: Remove the bee stinger to prevent further venom being released into the skin. Take a credit card or fingernail and swipe sideways along the skin, catching the stinger. Do not grab and pull it out – this will squeeze out further venom. After talking to your GP or pharmacist, take antihistamines and use ice packs to stop the itching.

In life you get people that think everything drops in to there hands in life, they don’t need to work a day in life but they think that can involve them self in the best things in life.

These people have a word for everything in society that gives them the description of self satisfaction and wellbeing.

Everything has a motive of work unless you win the lottery and get rich, This is called luck!!! which is 1 out of a 100. The run in life is a path I see so much people try to obtain out in society.

People are all ways knocking on the door to open and these are the people who should have the most respect to out element of being apart of the human cycle in life. One day tells the next from another that drives its full given motive to take a turn for the good of the worst.

It’s a tail of the fortune teller that reads it all like a scientific global energy that form within a circle of trust that decides its purpose within its given cause, hold your self as a hunter that strike when the weather calls its name.

People that don’t see them self as a lost cause for help or wanting something which they can’t have which is not mutual to them in life. A word of trust is a thought of acceptance from one who wants to accept the gift or the trust that is a truth aspect within life.

Music has infected society in a big way, it’s has got to most corners of the world with the expression of volition through guns and knife crime, the world is not going to become a better place it is going to be worse for the taking, it’s is killing black culture by the minute through wanting to be famous.

It’s uses words of description that aims racism to the black nation through words said in music. When I was a child this was not aloud on Tv or radio based on its form of language that is spoken.

I can relate to both rap and normal sense of understanding that states it’s going to get worst for the bad. A English rapper called English frank makes that clear in his music that it’s killing society in every description that we state and it’s going to get bad.

It’s a human bug that would lead to the worst hate for a culture of being black as rap comes from the black culture that drives full negatively expression through other cultures as black is the culture that planted the seed. It’s hides the real money maker that no one can see who is white based on the production of this music but black culture pushed for it to be apart of life.

It is a walking bomb for black people who upload this music to express society as a whole based on its description through rap music.

Black culture is falling at a high rate and it’s because of our attitude to life. Music 🎵 they should be able to express rap with out the major gun expression and the knife expressions as it’s is going to form a negative inspiration to the younger generation that is killing each other day by day in the world we are living today.
