The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) warns that such significant cuts could adversely affect frontline services, leading to longer wait times for tax processing, job center interactions, asylum applications, and court proceedings. Despite the pushback, Chancellor Reeves remains steadfast in her commitment to fiscal rules and reducing government expenditure without increasing taxes.
