Fire Erupts in Hollywood Hills: Celebrities Evacuated Amid Growing Blaze

A massive fire broke out late Tuesday evening in the Hollywood Hills, forcing the evacuation of hundreds of residents, including several high-profile celebrities. The blaze, which erupted near Mulholland Drive, rapidly spread due to strong winds and dry conditions, prompting firefighters to declare a state of emergency in the area.

Evacuations Underway

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) confirmed that evacuation orders were issued for the surrounding neighborhoods, home to some of Hollywood’s biggest names. Actors, musicians, and film industry elites were seen fleeing their multimillion-dollar homes as thick plumes of smoke blanketed the iconic hills.

Among those evacuated were A-list stars whose properties lie in the affected region. “It’s terrifying,” said one resident, speaking to reporters as they hurriedly packed belongings into their car. “We barely had time to grab our pets and essentials before the flames came dangerously close.”

Firefighting Efforts

Over 300 firefighters have been deployed to contain the inferno, supported by air tankers and water-dropping helicopters. Despite their efforts, the blaze has already consumed several acres of land and damaged a number of properties.

“The steep terrain and gusty winds are making this fire particularly challenging to control,” said LAFD Chief Anthony Morales during a press briefing. “Our priority remains the safety of the residents and minimizing the impact on their homes.”

Celebrity Reactions

As news of the fire spread, several celebrities took to social media to express their concern and share updates. Actor Chris Hemsworth shared a video from his property, showing flames in the distance, while singer Billie Eilish posted an Instagram story urging fans to stay safe.

“I’m praying for everyone affected,” tweeted actress Reese Witherspoon. “These fires are becoming all too common.”

A Growing Crisis

This fire marks the latest in a series of blazes that have plagued California in recent years, fueled by prolonged drought and climate change. State officials have warned that such incidents are becoming the “new normal,” calling for increased preventative measures.

Residents have been advised to stay updated through official LAFD channels and avoid returning to evacuation zones until deemed safe.

As the situation develops, the focus remains on protecting lives and property, while many in Hollywood anxiously await news of their homes and community.
