Kanye West, the influential rapper and fashion designer now known as Ye, has been the subject of multiple sexual assault allegations that continue to surface, casting a shadow over his career.

Allegations by Former Assistant Lauren Pisciotta

In June 2024, Lauren Pisciotta, who served as West’s assistant between 2021 and 2022, filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. The lawsuit was later amended to include allegations of sexual assault, with Pisciotta claiming that West drugged and assaulted her during a studio session co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs in July 2021. She alleges that after consuming a drink provided by West, she became disoriented and later had no memory of the events, waking up feeling ill and confused. West allegedly later referenced the incident, claiming they had “hooked up,” which Pisciotta could not recall.

Despite efforts to serve West with legal papers, Pisciotta’s legal team has struggled to locate him, leading them to seek court permission to serve him via newspaper publication. West has denied these allegations, labeling them as “baseless.”

Lawsuit Filed by Model Jenn An

In November 2024, another lawsuit was filed against West by model Jenn An, a former contestant on “America’s Next Top Model.” An alleges that during a 2010 music video shoot for La Roux’s “In for the Kill” at New York’s Chelsea Hotel, West took control of the production, selected her for a scene, and then assaulted her. She claims that West strangled her and forced his fingers into her mouth, actions he purportedly justified as “art.”

West’s Response and Ongoing Legal Battles

West has consistently denied all allegations of sexual misconduct. His representatives have dismissed the claims as unfounded, and he has reportedly planned to counter-sue Pisciotta, accusing her of blackmail and extortion.

These allegations have persisted, contributing to ongoing legal challenges and public scrutiny surrounding West. As of now, the lawsuits remain unresolved, and the legal processes continue to unfold.
