Tennis Legacy Tarnished: Grandson of Bobby Riggs Arrested on Child Exploitation Charges
Daniel James Riggs, 31, a Fort Lauderdale tennis coach and grandson of tennis legend Bobby Riggs, was arrested on December 17, 2024, by the FBI. Riggs faces serious federal charges, including enticement of a minor and production of child pornography.
Allegations of Abuse
Federal authorities allege that Riggs began coaching the victim in 2020 when she was 15 years old.
