British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was arrested in Australia on serious charges.
The 29-year-old faces allegations of rape and assault involving a woman in her 20s. The incident reportedly occurred on September 28, 2024, in a Perth hotel following one of his performances.
Yung Filly had been touring Australia, with shows in cities like Brisbane and Perth.
The charges against him include four counts of sexual penetration without consent and three counts of assault. There is also a charge related to impeding the victim’s breathing.
He was initially detained in Brisbane but was extradited to Perth for a court hearing, where he was granted bail under strict conditions.
These include daily check-ins with the police, surrendering his passport, and restrictions on discussing the case online .
Yung Filly has a substantial following on social media and is well-known for his work with the YouTube collective Beta Squad, as well as his appearances on British television. His legal proceedings will continue, and he has been ordered to stay in Western Australia until the case is resolved.
